In the previous post, I blogged about Google Earth. By chance, I found an interesting program that compliments the benefits of Google Earth. QuickMaps allows you to quickly and easily annotate Google maps. This is a great tool to create interactive projects for class. Not only will teachers find this tool useful, but students will enjoy using it for geography, social studies, history, and other projects.

I began experimenting with QuickMaps in a wiki that I am using for an ESL project (facts about Mexico and Peru maps). Click here to view the maps I created.
