It’s About Words

It is the first day of the New Year – a sunny, windy, winter day. Let’s begin the new year by exploring the Latin and Greek origins of English words. I plan to do a series of posts about these relationships by mixing information from the book NTC’s Dictionary of Latin and Greek Origins by Bob and Maxine Moore, ISBN 0-8442-8321-5, some online dictionaries, Wikipedia, and so on.

This will be an interesting series that will provide a different way at looking at the English language.
