Seeds of Change

Today, my ESL students and I had an international food day. We had Korean food and Saudi Arabian food. Since my students associate fast food for American food, I decided to bring in something healthy and simple – Tigris A Mixture of Seven Whole Grains, a tasty mix of seven whole grains and spices. My students loved this mix and appreciated the fact that its preparation required just 90 seconds in the microwave.

Seeds of Change offers a variety of foods. Who is this company? In their own words,

“Seeds of Change® was founded in 1989 with a revolutionary mission: To make organically grown seeds available to gardeners and farmers, while preserving countless heirloom seed varieties in danger of being lost to the “advances” of modern industrial agriculture.

While that mission stills hold true today, our company has evolved to be a strong producer of Certified Organic foods and Chocolates. Our line of Certified Organic Rice & Grain Blends, Simmer Sauces, Pasta Sauces, Salad Dressings, and chocolate bars were inspired by the notion that great taste and sustainability go hand in hand.” – http://www.seedsofchangefoods.com/ourstory/default.aspx

They sell organic foods which, if they taste as good as the previously mentioned 7-grain mix, are worth buying. Their site also provides recipes and other useful information. Check out their site. It is worth your time.
